  1. The theo agnew tryout guy looks very interesting
  2. I see that the Falcons have 20 UDFAs and 24 tryout guys (4 of them are pros?) for this mini camp. During the Rookie mini camp do they have to sign a tryout guy that they would like to see more of in training camp? In the 80's I met a guy who said his job was to be a player/opponent in the Bears training camp every year. He said it was great pay ($50 grand) for a few weeks work. He was a huge guy! Do they do that anymore or is that what the tryout guys are for, if they make the cut? No more "free lancers?" What is the Rookie mini camp really for? The Falcons web site says for great experience. But is it really to find training camp bodies, for cheap?
  3. I have been here a good long time as well. I think it is simple... let everyone know where they can post their super genius GM ideas, and opinions... and lock the others and let them roll to oblivion.
  4. Both chat and Tatf are going to be "rolling" during the draft. Rather than merging threads how about the Mods put up an official "I love the picks," or "I hate the picks" pinned threads. They can get rid of garbage threads.. or just let them roll into oblivion.
  5. It is his team and he has improved it since he bought it. I do think, as a businessman, he thinks about putting butts in the seats... star power... Winning is everything to the success of a NFL team, but throw in some names that are wildly interesting to fans/media, the attention is there! Remember blacked out games? Remember little or NO media coverage? They are going to do what they have to do to win while putting butts in the seats.
  6. Isn't it though! It seems as if the first five are working out/visiting QB's the most. (well, except the Rams) Perhaps finding which ones are best in a rather weak QB class?

  8. This is a list of visits/workouts by team. Gives some indication of what position teams are looking for. Rather than wondering what they are looking for, you can see who they have brought in. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000338464/article/tracking-nfl-teams-interest-in-top-draft-prospects
  9. Browns have only worked out QBs. This list give some small insight of what teams are looking for. http://www.nfl.com/n...draft-prospects based on visits/workouts
  10. I have no idea. But I do believe the FO will not make the same mistakes as last year (depth). We need guys that can play in the NFL, right away.
  11. Perhaps when it forced me to pick my gender I should have said "male?" Apparently, the site does not want females.
  12. Umm I signed up... out of pity... lol. However, the e-mail verification link from my email to your site is not working... it says invalid... expired. I just did this! WTF! Kinda glitchy, if you ask me.
  13. "The Atlanta Falcons made the loudest statement on the first day of free agency. They essentially rebuilt both of their lines in the matter of an hour." By Gregg Rosenthal http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000333073/article/atlanta-falcons-agree-with-soliai-jackson-asamoah
  14. Well, very nice for you that live in flat, urban areas. Where I live it is impossible to get in or out of the neighborhood (hills, trees, nothing melts on roads quickly). Today, it was entertaining to watch neighbors try.
  15. Oh yes, thank you Tony! What a great history and life you have had! You were a favorite of mine.
  16. A Falcon football player... yes. A Falcon team employee, no. A cheerleader made it.
  17. it is happening. 3 games this year. I personally think it is awesome. I'd love to go to the London game!!
  18. I like the ad. I like the way it sends a message of toughness. To me it says anything less will not be tolerated! We shall see... However, "the writing" is clearly "on the wall."
  19. I can not wait to see this series! It is too bad that every season they will start off with a new storyline and cast. It will be hard to outdo a Matthew/Woody acting cast next season... but we shall see!
