  1. I'm sorry but the "he must have been passed up by everybody for a reason" logic by many on this board is a pretty naive and foolish statement. So that means if you're a late round pick you're probably not that good? Me personally, I'm just a little tired of being called a soft team every year. Toughness starts up front and for years it's been something we continuously seem to prioritize lower than the skill positions. I'm not really feeling this draft so far. A lot of people didn't like last years draft, but I did because we addressed the most important area on a team that you can address... the front lines. Here's hoping we resign Abraham and bring in a big D tackle.
  2. My wife and I are going. Can't wait. We moved to Northern VA about 4 years ago. This will be her first game ever. I'm down for a little tailgating.
  3. I'd love to see other guys do it too... Maybe we can recapture some of that 98' magic?
  4. I actually thought Hawley looked pretty overmatched when he was in there. Whiffed a few times on blocks. After the first preseason game, I think it's worth seeing what Konz can do in game 2 with the first team. McClure doesn't make many mistakes, but doesn't move many people either.
  5. I see where you're coming from, but that's not really a fair assessment. Look at Jake Long's body of work up until that point compared to Sam Baker's. Big difference between having an inconsistent game and an inconsistent career.
  6. I know you hear this all the time... but I CAN NOT stop laughing at your sig.
  7. I'm over spending money on the DE position on guys who aren't elite. I'm obviously 100% in on Willaims (who wouldn't be) but Avril would be signing another DE who hasn't proven to be elite but has benefited by playing with elite talent on the line with him. I'd rather not sign anyone and take my chances in the draft.
  8. I agree with most of what you said. However, I think Turner is good enough to produce. The bigger issue is the offensive line... and this applies to the run and pass.
  9. Please Houston... Let Mario Williiams walk. We'd much appreciate it.
  10. Beat me to it. Williams is the missing link. You could put me at safety after that.
