This is what alot of people expected from the team going into the season, the better question is who was that 1-7 team.

This is what we were supposed to look like.

I don't know.  I think a coach who is on the hot seat would likely bring him back to help with as many wins as possible as soon as possible.

We get the worst hot takes here.

    Happy Gilmore!! in the flesh.
  7. thamill liked a post in a topic by Sicairos in The Importantance of having good lines, numbers dont lie.
all this tells me is that the bad teams are throwing more since they're playing from behind and the good teams are running more since they're ahead and running out the clock. I wouldnt say it necessarily translates to having good or bad lines.
I do agree with it all starting with the lines though and having improved lines would be a great help.

I shot a 59 one time. It was a 9-hole putt-putt course though, so not sure if that counts.

Nice!! A HIO is huge!! I hope you kept the ball.
I started playing about 6 years ago.  I have my oldest son playing now as well and he enjoys it.  He wants to make his HS golf team.  Rumor has it, getting a college scholarship for golf is pretty attainable.

Now I love the fact about Okudah. But you can never invest in the d line too much. Impossible

You just described my golf game.  I'm playing solid through nine holes and instead of playing safe with what I know works and finishing with a solid round, I get wild and essentially burn my scorecard on the back nine.

It’s an addictive game. I got into it in high school. Our school started a golf team and didn’t enough volunteers so the coach came to the football team locker room and said you, you, you and you are on the golf team. Been playing ever since. Not worth a dam but do have a hole in one under my belt.

    79 is really good!!

Haha I know right.  It's the toughest sport out there for consistency.  If you shoot in the 70s you're really really good, but not good enough to be pro.  If you shoot in the 80s you're pretty dog gone good.  If you shoot in the 90s you're not too bad.  The majority of people though rarely break 100.
I take lessons and hit balls three times a week (I live in San Diego so I can play year round) and get at least 9 holes in every week and still my best 18 holes ever was an 85.  I'm usually in the low 90s.  The amount of time and money I've put into this game is stupid for the results I've gotten...but I can't stop.

My best round ever was a 79 but that was a few years ago when I played weekly.  I wouldn't sniff the 90s now.

Making one of the biggest mistakes in Super Bowl history and not learning the lesson is pretty lame as well.

I've never used the word "Solid" to describe my golf game.  I affectionaly call my clubs, Weapons of Mass Destruction.
  20. HouseofEuphoria liked a post in a topic by thamill in Do you think our defense will continue to play good ball or was Saints game a fluke?
I'm gonna wait until i see it back to back weeks.  We stepped up big against Philly and I honestly thought we turned the corner and then we turned into hot garbage again.  If we string together a few good "competitive" weeks, I'll believe.

We’ve had three linebackers on the field all year. The problem’s been that one of them was Vic Beasley.

I think their entire offseason of *****ing about the no-PI call lost them favor with the referee mafia.

All it takes is 1 bad influence to ruin a person. There's a reason good parents attempt to keep their kids from hanging out with bad influences. But once they get to a certain age parents can no longer control who they hang out with and it's up to the kid to try to make wise decisions about who they let into their circle of influence.

I never thought he was THAT bad....yeah he has his flaws (mainly OLine and DLine) but I tend to think if we went with another GM, he would have his flaws as well, maybe even worse. I think we can win still with TD. Just my 2 cents

    Interesting.
I thought people would be coming out of the woodwork to bash TD.
It's truly amazing what a win against the Saints will do.
