primetime reacted to kiwifalcon in TF and AS were excited when the 49ers took Lance, turned down a call from Detroit
QB was off the table when they committed to Ryan with thee restructured contract.
Then the BPA TF promised came to fruition.
Smoke screens were set up early with the travel to scout all the QBs.But for me early on in the process I believe they had there target it mind in Pitts.
TF has actually told the whole world what he’s going to do and has done it too a tee.

I disagree. He held out for more money in the 2nd year of a new contract. No one does that. He frequently takes off optional team activities. He's not a huge prima donna or anything, but he's also not this perfect specimen of professionalism either.

The issue with TD was his Needs based draft.. the Lamar Holmes of the world... he reach for players that were not even good ones... But he did build 2 SB teams.. I get him that.. but boy did some of his picks were strange...

In my opinion, salary cap WOULD be the only reason to trade Julio. From every article that came out, the return for Julio would not come close to matching the impact of the player. So the only reason you would trade him is if it were the only way to become cap compliant. Since there are many other ways (namely, restructuring Grady), I just don't see it happening.
If a team wants to offer multiple 1sts -- then I'd do it.

I understand your right but I hate players that sign a long term contract and then want to renegotiate it based on later set market value. Julio is a stud and I love him as a falcon. But this has always left a sour taste in my mouth. This was basically just a bad call from him and his manager as I see it. And yes I understand teams can cut players at virtually anytime but they have to eat the dead cap. He should have played out his contract and then renegotiated.

People can rag on Ryan (over his contract and it’s numbers) but he has never been disruptive to the team re contracts. He is the consummate professional in this.

How about his stiff arm to completely throw the tackler off before returning it to the house. Where I come from that’s called the ‘dont argue’ and he did it to perfection.

I forgot about that. It's true though, Julio gets a free pass when we discuss the cap. Could you imagine the gnashing of teeth if Matt Ryan did the exact same thing? Folks here lose their mind because her doesn't play for $500k per year
