  1. The year is gone. It's time to maximize the trade deadline. Take whatever cap hits you got to take with a rebuild next year and a young hard playing team like Miami is doing. If the guy can get us a few high picks and he has a serious chance while in his prime somewhere else it is the proper thing to do. Ryan isn't the problem but the situation is really bad over the past 2 years. It's time to salary dump and rebuild the hard way reseting our cap.
  2. I get where this is coming from. I use to listen to a lot of sports talk, read every Falcon article, boards were always open on a browser etc. Loved this team then and I still do but after 2016 I refused to let myself be that invested into something I couldn't control. I'll still watch but I now have the Falcons on one screen and my DFS players making me money on another. Is Quinn gone yet? Maybe that will be bring me back to the way I use to be. Tired of his era.
  3. Falcons: $$$$$ Fans: 0 Hopefully the smart fans no show this game in protest and have a totally embarrassing week 7 empty stadium situation that the NFL media is talking about.
  4. I feel like this is a lot of Atlanta Fans right now I post this in a fun way because you are making a totally awesome offer that someone will take.
  5. Fast and physical!
  6. I'm rooting to see nothing but empty seats tomorrow where the fans finally send a real statement. I seriously hope the place has 9K people left by half time. Blank is loyal to Quinn for whatever unknown reason. That can and will change very quickly as a businessman if he looking at his balance sheet for game day and so deep in the negative opening the building that he has to react. Rams are struggling so I don't exactly see a whole lot of folks getting on a plane from LA or St. Louis to attend this dumpster fire of a game. Quinn isn't capable of fixing this mess so any wins at this point does the new coach and likely GM signifiant damage from a draft pick perspective. We don't need another useless 7-9 season like he did last year. Personally it would be fitting tomorrow to have Quinn's final game have a score of Rams: 28 Falcons 3
  7. Just step away and take a break knowing that this season is already gone. The only lingering pieces of business in 2019 is when they get this coach out of here and if we unload some guys before the trade deadline. There is always next year with a new vision and coach. Take a break and see you in July
  8. Biggest loss: Not firing Quinn last year/so far this year. Eventually will be the nonsense where we win just enough games again to get a screwed draft spot for the new coaching staff. Biggest win: All the sad Georgia Bulldog fan faces yesterday. I'm not a college football fan but paper champions are paper champions and it was exposed what they really are. Sportstalk radio will be charged for a while in Atlanta.
  9. I've been a Quinn backer since he got here but at this point the only tweet that will matter to me after this mess of a Sunday is: "Falcons fire Quinn". I've been watching the Falcons for a long time and for a first quarter of a season I don't know that I have ever seen such an unprepared and disorganized Falcon team. Dan Reeves may have been vanilla with his RUN RUN PASS PUNT offense but those guys played tough. The coaches after Reeves all had some sort of system or style. What exactly is this Falcon team? I keep hearing prolific offense, yet 10 points? Fast and physical defense and yet we get run over? Why is Quinn still the coach? We are in last place in the division already so what else is there to lose?
  10. Time for something different. His message is stale and the defense he champions has been figured out and is trash.
  11. I've been a big Quinn supporter but his words are just noise at this point. Time to move on and get someone else. Can't run your defensive system for 5 seasons and now have your own direct play calling and have this type of rubbish.
  12. I'm not one to want an early season firing but I'm done with this Quinn experiment. We are looking worst and worst instead of improving. Shanahan made this dude look better than he was. 5 years of your own system and calling it yourself this year and this is what you put on the field? Blank: It's time to make a change. Let Koetter run this thing and Morris call the defense. We can't be any worst doing that.
  13. They probably feel confident enough in the offense that we won't need 50 yard field goals. Hopefully we are kicking lots of extra points.
  14. AFC vs NFC This season out of all in the past 15 has the potential to not go the way everyone expects. The talent in the league is a lot closer than it's been in a long time. I'll have my prediction be that NE won't be there this year as the AFC team.
  15. I've reviewed the tape over and over and I still do not see any evidence of pass interference. That is my story and I am sticking to it. Case dismissed.
  16. Cocaine is a **** of a drug.
  17. A+ Addressed what needed to be addressed. Nothing exciting which usually means a solid draft a few years later when we look back. Our defense will be ok. We have injured players returning, a decent rotation and the backups have received significant playing time last year. My biggest question after this weekend is kicker.
  18. This schedule sets up great if things fall in our favor. We get 5 preseason games to try out our depth. We are a slow starting regular season team recently the way Quinn uses Preseason and with three new coordinators we can actually afford to stumble a bit in the first 5 games this year with 3 early AFC games. Just try to split the first two NFC games. We get a mid season bye week before the division run and another mini-bye for the final quarter run. I like it. If we hit our stride and the division is down in any way we can run right through it without much time for them to recover. Could clinch the division with 3 weeks to go if things go our way. The division games will get us ready for a post season push being battle tested. This is where the speed we have built will show. 13 games on a fast indoor track. The 3 outside games are going to be great weather wise on a pretty good surface. Next to no chance of rain in San Fran or Tampa that time of year. Tampa to close the year is a gift.
  19. The games are broadcast on https://aaf.com for those without the channels. No need for a junk stream. The early Saturdays games will be stream only moving forward on B/R live (TNT product). 4pm on CBS Sports network Sunday. 8pm on NFL network both Saturday and Sunday. It's decent and something to watch during this dead time but not NFL level obviously. Guys play hard without as many flags and games seem to go by fast. Basically a training ground for everyone and testing for new concepts.
  20. Going to kick back and revel in the fact that the Aint's fans are going to be upset for 4 agonizing hours and enjoy what will hopefully be a high scoring entertaining game. Don't care who wins tonight. Just entertain me! Go Falcons.
  21. It was noise to silence to the beautiful sound of agony. Karma is so nasty. 2 years in a row with a last second brutal playoff loss. While the MN Miracle was devastating the fact that this one was in their house made it so much better.
  22. All in is great when it works like the Rams did. If Brees walks away into retirement like he might (1st ballot HOFer no doubt) they have left a hot mess there for the next few years draft wise. That guy they drafted was a reach and made no sense. Peyton without Brees would be trash and out of that head coach spot fairly quick.
  23. The agony of the guy in the first video brought an evil happiness to me. I could watch this all day lmao.
  24. (Announcement) There are donuts in the break room until 6:45pm.
  25. This would be a best case scenario at this point: Aint's destroyed on national tv 1 and done Wrecked draft for 2019
