  6. I wasn't sure about Pitts. After reading this post, I am convinced he should be the guy at #4.

  7. disagree that a great TE isn't worth as much as a wr. I'd take Travis Kelce over just about any wr. And the fact that they don't cost as much makes them even more valuable.

  9. pick a year, any of 'em. now realize, there are 30 other teams besides us that didn't win a ring. Matt's NOT the problem, no matter how much you dislike him. pitiful coaching, defense and special teams ALL play their particular parts, but nah, you don't wanna hear (or read) actual facts

    Dirk speaks.

Not once, since the announcement that he would retire/not be retained have I thought about him or wondered what he was up to, or wanted to hear what he would do with his life going forward. I have given zero thought to him until just this moment. When this thread dies, I can know that peace once again.

  15. Shout out to Taylor Lewan and Will Compton for this interview man... I get that Kyle Shanny vibe from Arthur especially as a play caller... Confident *** helll..... I love that because i think that gets the best out of Matt and he can take your good scheme to the next level with his mind (something Shanny pointed too) .. That cocky Matt Ryan was **** man

  16. Lol calls the Jags interview a 'warm up interview'. This is a fantastic listen. The real football interview starts around 21:00. It's on Spotify as well. Some takeaways: Majority of it is his former Titan players reminiscing with him One of them (can't tell which) says 'you were a savage player caller' Taylor Lewan says that his offense was 'the most fun offense he's ever been a part of' They ask him if he likes the alternate uniform, and he says 'I mean, I think we have a good home and away uniforms' One of them said '****, with you calling plays for Matt R

  18. The lack of respect TD gets around here is crazy. He built two Superbowl worthy rosters and drafted the best QB this franchise has ever had while half this board wanted to draft Glen Dorsey and/or wanted to trade him for Von Miller in 2015 (we have the receipts).

  26. The te position has evolved just like you jabronis constantly talk about the qb position evolving. This isn't the 90s anymore. The te position is used to create constant mismatches because they have to be covered by a safety or a lb. You're just butthurt because we aren't drafting a qb

  28. I don’t post hearsay and stuff pulled from anonymous sources a55. Here is TF himself. One thing which stood out from the interview is pretty telling. “That’s critical because that’s a position that regardless of where you are at your starter — we’re so excited about Matt Ryan, but we have to evaluate every one of these quarterbacks,” Fontenot said. “Not just for now, when you think big picture, if you have an opportunity — for example Trevor Lawrence, when you have an opportunity to see that player in person throw, then you have to take advantage of that. Even if you’re not go

  29. 1.0 Mock with trade down scenario can be viewed here: Sticking with the no QB top 5 theme for this one, nobody will be able to convince me a TE is worth a top 5 pick as a 'lets compete' decision so I am going with a position of impact and a player than can be a difference maker at RT and eventually move to LT in 3-4 seasons. Bottom line McGary is an average tackle so maybe he can salvage his career at guard if not we find his replacement next year. Just like my other draft I will focus on defense heavy in the middle rounds to attempt fixing some of the holes we have R

    Rotten Fish Mock 3.0

Most mocks are wrong, and mine will probably be as well. But here’s my opinion. Please share yours as well. It’s all good fun anyway Mock 3.0 As we get closer to the draft, I’m going with a trade scenario. I do believe that it is possible that we stay put and take Kyle Pitts or Sewell; but i still see a viable trade partner with the Broncos. Here is the trade: Broncos receive #4 overall and select Trey Lance. It’s a good situation for him. They can run Pistol offense, RPOs and simplify the game for him with their running game and good defense. In a conference dominated by QBs

  31. It is no secret that I'm a best player available guy and that I've advocated for Ja'Marr Chase since my first mock. While it may border on being sacrilegious to compare an undrafted rookie to a future hall of famer, I'm going to do it anyway. College stats: Julio Jones 2009- 13 games, 43 receptions, 596 yards, 4 TDs 2010- 13 games, 78 receptions, 1133 yards, 7 TDs Ja'Marr Chase 2018- 10 games, 23 receptions, 313 yards, 3 TDs 2019- 14 games, 84 receptions, 1780 yards, 20 TDs Draft capital spent Julio Jones- two 1st rd picks, two 2nd rd picks, 4th rd

  34. The lions have a buttload of future picks thanks to their trade with the Rams. Do they want to throw all that into the mix for the 4th or 5th best QB in this draft or wait until next year and get the best QB in that draft? Whatever these fools do, just give the Falcons everything you got.

The NFL draft is set to be held April 29 through May 1, and a report that the two sides are split was disputed. ESPN’s Chris Mortensen reported that Fontenot is more focused on a quarterback, while Smith is fine with Matt Ryan. While Fontenot was not available to commen

  38. This front office, this new regime sure does know how to play poker. Holy smokes the talking heads are all over the place, the insiders all have conflicting reports, then the real beauty was Mort saying AS doesn’t want a QB but TF does....brilliant! I was thinking about all this madness today, frustrated the draft is still 3 weeks away and then it hit me. This is master level poker. If you are a GM on a team that wants to move up to 4, you are every bit as twisted in knots as us fans are! I have a strong feeling once this is all over the fanbase will say in unison “AS and TF, we

  42. For those that didn't watch the video, he DOES NOT say Atlanta should take a QB. He says Atlanta should stay at #4 and take BPA, which in his opinion isn't a QB. Also, Brandon Marshall spitting fire (paraphrased). 'Matt Ryan gives them the greatest chance to win. He's the answer, not the problem. 10 straight 4,000 yard seasons. Only Drew Brees has a longer streak. The problem is Dan Quinn's defense, it has always been Dan Quinn's defense.'

  45. Mom's rapid test was negative. So relieved. Was going through all kinds of worrisome scenarios in my head all morning. I talked to her while she was still waiting, she was convinced she didn't have it, and if she did, that she was likely at the tail end of it as she's been sick for almost two weeks. Now I don't have to quarantine again, or, worse, quarantine the toddler as her daycare still does the strict 14 day quarantine (which is good and why there's been less than a handful of people who have gotten sick there).
