  1. Hey Guys, just got back home from Emory Hospital after a week long visit. I'm afraid the news is not very good . They've deemed me incurable , my liver is shot and my kidneys are following suit. I've been sent home to finish up my life on Hospice , theyre job is too keep me comfortable. I wanted to take this time to say Thank you . to each and every one of y'all, our discussions and rants kept me entertained since the noicsseason , had I known about this page , I would have been here sooner, I wanna say a special Thanks to the people Ive gotten closer too @SkerFalcon8710, @Knight of God, @Ja

  2. All offseason we have had to deal with the QB@4 crowd being belligerent, antagonistic, patronizing and aggressive to anyone who dared suggest we weren't taking a QB at 4 no matter any of the real world reasoning and logistics behind it. Some of you were downright brutal this offseason making it one of the worst offseasons I can remember. TATF was a joke, full of trolls bashing on Matt at every chance they got and pushing their conspiracy theories as to why person x said thing y which SURELY means QB at 4. A lot of us told you the entire time you were wrong, and it wasn't a QB at 4. You

I wanted to say I hate the Saints. That is one awful cocky fanbase reading their boards. Also we owe you a Thanks for beating them a month ago. That gave us a bye. I know we were lucky to win both games against Detroit but still a big Thanks! Who you guys rooting for in the NFC and AFC. I hope the Saints choke again in the playoffs.

  5. I recently reached out to see how things were going for her. She’s struggling with grief, but definitely getting through this. She has reached out for help and is getting better. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers while she deals with this. I can’t say what it’s like, but grief is something we all have in common. Please help me circle the wagon for our friend. Thanks guys. Clarence

  7. First off, know this much - I get you. At least on a surface level, it looks like we traded Free, a guy who a lot of TATF liked, for a guy with similar injury issues, a guy who had a down year, and we did it with money that could've been dedicated to the defense. But let me point out a few things that have me high as Khalifa on this Gurley signing. 1) Contract conditional on physical: Gurley's deal with us is conditional on him passing a physical, which means if his knee is really as bad as everyone's making it out to be, he won't count a penny against our cap. Plain and simple. 2) L

    Pray For Gritz

Everyone please say a small prayer for @GhostofGritz. I'm not gonna post the details on here, he's welcome to if he wishes. But let's just remember him and his family right now as they deal with a family tradegy. I know we all get on each other's nerves at times on here and we last out sometimes but at the end of the day we're one big family and we all lift each other up in times of hardship. I've experienced it and I've seen it happen with others on here. Gritz, we're praying for you brother!!

  9. Thank you God!!! My test results are negative for the acetylcholine. Which are cells that attack your muscles (aka myasthenia gravis). I know the doctor will say to do more testing to make sure, due to this is just the receptors. But enough is enough. I've been tortured mentally way to much. And none of this should have ever gotten to this point. I do not know if I'll address my double vision with seeing a new doctor. But right now I never want to see one again. NO ONE should ever have to go thru the mental games these doctors have done to me. I have never been afraid of dying. Not e

  10. 1) You draft a QB when your current QB is bad...ours isn’t. 2) You draft a QB when your QB is ending his career...ours isn’t. 3) You draft a QB so you can take advantage of the rookie wage scale and save a ton of money for five years and build around him...we are still paying Ryan so that isn’t a thing, and we have no money to surround that person with talent. 4) The flawed logic of “we won’t be drafting this high in a long time we we have to take our QB of the future”. This is wrong for two reasons. QBs taken in the top five have been less successful then the rest of the fist

  14. From The Athletic: I'm hoping Hageman can make the roster. I liked him coming out and always thought he had sky high potential. It seems like he's learned a LOT of valuable lessons from his time away from the game. That it's a privilege, first and foremost, and can be taken away at a moments notice for not being in good standing as a citizen and player of the team. At the end of the day, if he has learned from his mistake and done everything to atone for it, you can't continue to shun him. He's earned his chance. But that's all it is: a chance. If he makes the most of it, we saw the la

    Prayers Requested

Hey guys! I debated with myself to even start this thread. Y'all know me as Goober here on the boards and a few know me in real life. I'm not one to usually share much of what's going on in my personal life...even with those I know off the boards. And the Lord knows the everyone has SOMETHING going on that affects them or their loved ones each day. With that said, even though I don't know many of you on here, I still feel like this is an online home away from home....almost like the bar in "Cheers". I come here many times during each day, checking for new threads and replies in current on

  23. First of all, as a Falcons fan since 1966 and having suffered through the Rankin Smith ownership tenure, I am forever grateful to Arthur Blank for what he has done for this city and this franchise. He makes mistakes like we all do but he is still one of the very best owners, not just in the NFL, but in all of pro sports. Mr Blank does one thing exceptionally well. When he decides he wants someone in his organization, he does whatever has to be done and gets the person he wants. He is not cheap. You never hear him complain publicly about money or having to pay big contracts even if those

  24. Matt Ryan - Let's get this out of the way first - I want Ryan next year, and I think he's a good quarterback. That being said, he was not very good this year. This was easily his worst year since 2015. He missed a lot of reads, he missed a lot of throws, and he was just generally "off," mostly early on, but also later, he just cleaned up the interceptions comparatively. I was a big DK hater before going back and rewatching games while keying in, but after...Ryan and Freeman were the biggest issues by far. Ryan for missing throws, Freeman for missing holes. If they're less off and making the mo

Nasty player, he always is trying to hit someone even if he does not have to. Will do anything to pick up his block, I've seen him jump and stretch out just to get the tiniest push on someone to slow them down instead of letting them ru

Here's the link to the original thread below if you want to take time and revisit https://boards.atlantafalcons.com/topic/4023102-meet-the-poster/ And please no one be weirdos and use other people's photos from that thread or this thread if someone chooses to post. I'm seeing a specialist Friday for myasthenia agravis. Hopefully the specialist will tell me this other doctor is just a quack. And then look at me and tell me I don't have this. I've reached out to people who have it. And it's a snowflake auto immune. 15% it affects the eye only. Others it gets very bad. Some medicine helps a lot, others it's s fishing for which medicine. 38. We cant run the ball, Ryan has no "get out of jail free" receiver, we only get a good pass rush when we blitz, the secondary is weak. It doesnt look like we have a QB problem, he got us a lead. The run game and defense holds the lead. The defense need the run game and overall clock management. I dont think we have clock management plays.
