  1. That's a dumb way to judge QBs. The QB is 1 guy out of 53.

  2. Yes, I’m admitting it. He’s the best ever. And most of you who know me know I’ve been a big Brady detractor his whole career. But, I want to point something out here. I’ve had countless arguments and discussions with people over the years about how defense is more important than weapons for a QB. People have told me that Brady wins with no weapons and Peyton had tons of weapons and couldn’t pull through. Same argument applies to Ryan. Ryan’s been “blessed with weapons” and can’t win the big one is the narrative. In this game we just watched, Brady was 13/22 for 202 yards and 2 t

  5. Ryan's situation reminds me of Elway's before Mike Shanahan came along. Both a former NFL MVP and fell real short of a SB championship(Elway 3 times). Elway was looked at as an aging QB who was a really good QB with plenty of stats for his era that many heavily questioned could he ever win a SB. Even his HOF candidacy was in questioned. Then comes Mike Shanahan who brought in his offense that took the pressure off Elway with a creative offense and a run game. He also got a defense. Elway was finally able to break through and make it to the mountain top and c

Let’s see if I understand this correctly... So Rogers DIDNT choke. The reasons he lost are that his defense, particularly his secondary, sucked terribly, he made an ill-advised throw when he could have possibly run it into the end zone, and his coach made a terrible series of calls at the goal line late in the game. He is now 1-4 in NFC Championship Games. But he didn’t choke Matt DID choke because his defense gave up a 28-3 lead, Devonte Freeman was more concerned about his new contract than he was about picking up that missed block and Shanahan forgets situational football and t

  7. Our very own @falconidae And then...we got Dirk'd/Troffed/EmbracedTheSuck. Don't bury Matt Ryan just yet.

  8. I swear I should just block that person. The ideas and takes are juvenile at best. TEAM sport. Brady threw 3 picks yesterday but the D saved his butt by not giving up points on the turnovers. And people still call Brady goat.

  9. Imagine if they used that first round pick on someone that could have made a play in NFC championship and he did and they won and Tom Brady and the Bucs weren't going to the Superbowl. Imagine.

    Brady is the GOAT

He threw 3 ints in the second half...he made more mistakes in that one half than Ryan made during the entire 2016 playoff run.

  14. Trade Matt Ryan for Matthew Stafford. Stafford is the better QB much better mobility and a stronger arm. Then draft your future QB with the 4th pick. We will never win a SB with Matt Ryan. If we keep Matt Ryan for this season and beyond we are wasting our time. We need a new leader. Matt Ryan may also benefit from the change. Matt has had his chance here. Don't want to see him for another season getting sacked. Looks like a statue in the pocket. If he's our starting QB this season...temper your enthusiasm and put your championship hopes aside. Expect another mediocre season.

  15. You want us to eat the dead money for trading Ryan so we can get another expensive QB and then to top that off you want us to draft another QB at 4... Drugs are bad.

Rodgers didn't choke that game away yesterday. LeFleur pretty much chickened out and didn't trust his MVP QB and their historically great redzone offense on that 4th down. Also, those Packer DBs were awful. Maybe should've drafted a CB in the 1st round instead of Jordan Love?

Also what is there to blow up really? He is coming from the Saints a team that built a consistent winner behind Brees for years. He is the kind of guy who knows what to find to keep his vets happy and winning.

  20. Don't really get the Paye hype. Could be wrong, but I just don't see it. Paye would be a OLB in the 3-4 base and DE in the 4-3 fronts.

  23. One of the most important weapons that a HC can use is the ability to make the right in game decisions. DQ was not very good at making the right decisions in game. Kyle Shanahan, although deified on these boards, does not either. Now Matt LaFleur **** the bed last night with a chance to go to the Super Bowl. Who in the **** kicks a field goal there? Unbelievable! If you don't convert, you're still leaving them at the 8. Hold them, and then you'll get the ball back in better field position, then if you hold them after a kick off. Absolutely stupid! So many on these boards have banged on AB

  24. If we are shrewd and demand a King’s Ransom for our 4th overall pick, this could be a great year to finally trade down. There are a bevy of players whose value has diminished due to opting out. If we could move down to 15th or so while adding a 2nd, 3rd and 2022 1st, we could walk away with some special players. Here are just a few of the guys I think have Pro Bowl talent but are currently projected Round 3 or later • Jaylen Twyman: this one is a mystery. Dude opted out and should be a top 12 pick IMO. He is a Grady Jarrett clone. At 295 lbs, the DT from Pitt recorded 11 sacks , 13

  25. Tired of the junk yards narrative. Trashing a man trying to help the team to climb back into games by throwing the ball. Any other QB throws for so many yards in a game its ok for you but when Ryan does it its junk yards. Im tired of some of the idiotic ignorant fans on this board. You dont know football dude.

  26. Not to downgrade Tom Brady's accomplishments in any way, but for more than a decade the Patriots benefited from having absolutely no competition in the AFC East. The Patriots had basically a free-ride to the playoffs.

That is beyond stupid. Those players are tougher than you could ever hope to be. They put their football career on hold knowing it could impact they’re draft stock because they didn’t want to risk spreading the virus anymore than it already has. Those players have more character in their pinky than you will ever obtain in your entire life.

    Brady is the GOAT

We’ve had one top 10 defense since Matt has been here I think? Brady had a top 10 defense the great majority of the years in NE. I have always thought if Matt was in NE with Belichick he’d have multiple SB

  42. It's not going to stop the dreamers from demanding a quarterback at #4. I think it's much likelier that the team actually drafts someone like Parsons or Sewell at 4, OR trades down to a QB needy team for draft capitol. Just my belief...I think there's a less than 5% chance of the Falcons drafting a quarterback at their current 1st pick.

LOL JD...that’s about as fine a ‘kicking and screaming’ admittance I’ve seen in quite awhile, my friend. 🤪 BTW, Rodgers threw for 300+/3TDs, but he also threw a costly int which contributed to them being in a big hole. If that were Ryan, the navel-gazers would be calling him a choker.
