    Braves @ Phillies

It's an interesting take. Braves development of Sims was no doubt troubled -- two regime changes, plus multiple coaching changes including a change a Gwinnett that went so poorly that they sent Sims back to to AA basically to get him straightened back out with Dennis Llewellyn. Not to mention losing most of a year due to the Carolina Mudcats bus crash. That said, the Braves had every incentive to help Sims be all that he could be. They may not have been successful, but it's a cheap shot to act like they didn't "actually care".

  16. As a UPS driver when USPS shuts down for a day (MLK) we get blown the **** out. And when we went on strike FedEx couldn't handle all the volume that spilled over to them. They certainly couldn't handle USPS volume. I've talked to FedEx drivers in my area they run about 60-100 stops a day where I'm hitting 120-215.

  17. I share your sentiment, but my hope is he will have less direct involvement in game management with Will Harriger and Jeff Ulbrich playing more significant roles in game management this season. Quinn should know by now he needs to focus on the cheer-leading and cool slogans department and leave game management to others.

Major college scouts never ventured out to Conyers because Rockdale County High School wasn’t a Georgia program known to produce high-level talent. The program had one winning season in Jarrett’s four years. Nobody was going to come to watch him. So he went to them.

    Nice Roddy White video

The stat that jumps out of the video and hits you between the eyes is having 60+ receptions and averaging over 20 yards per catch. That just can't happen, but it did. Roddy White will always hold a place close to the heart of long-time Falcon fans. Not just for what he did for the Falcons, but what he did for Julio.

  28. I actually think Dan Quinn is the bigger obstacle than Koetter. I’m convinced that he simply just isn’t a very good coach. Game management has been below average. Team gets too many penalties and looks undisciplined too often.

  32. Gono is the answer at LG. He can do the swing T thing but solidify the line now by putting him at LG and draft a T next year. He is so explosive off the ball that dl will not be able to react fast enough to his power with arm length at 335lbs. He will make first contact most of the time against the dl nose to nose. Turn on the tape against the Panthers and watch him destroy people at RG. With a season of playing at LG he will get even better. Too much upside to be a swing T and watching from sidelines when he can fill a huge hole on the line elsewhere. Let the rookie Hennessey learn th

    Training Camp Updates

Crump was too husky and slow (4.79 combine) to be a ‘game changer’. Good receiver, very good hands and a big boy blocker, but not sure he was much better than Hooper overall...definitely not in the league of a guy like Kittle, Kelce, etc. (IMO) That said really enjoyed watching him, and glad we had him or Finnerman would have been our #1 weapon 😬

2004-2005 literally the ONLY receiving option we had and he constantly put up huge numbers and got open. Defenses had to respect him.

  43. This is a hard one to judge. He did nothing spectacular. Even Gonzales did some highlight worthy plays once in a while. But, he was very sure handed, ran good routes, and was tough to bring down if he was in full stride. He was good. He changed games but did so in small increments. That resulted in some wins we would not have without him.
