  4. Falcons do not need to do this. I would not like this at all.
  5. The prison industry complex is one of the fastest-growing industries in the United States and its investors are on Wall Street. “This multimillion-dollar industry has its own trade exhibitions, conventions, websites, and mail-order/Internet catalogs. It also has direct advertising campaigns, architecture companies, construction companies, investment houses on Wall Street, plumbing supply companies, food supply companies, armed security, and padded cells in a large variety of colors.” CRIME GOES DOWN, JAIL POPULATION GOES UP According to reports by human rights organizations, these are the factors that increase the profit potential for those who invest in the prison industry complex: Jailing persons convicted of non-violent crimes, and long prison sentences for possession of microscopic quantities of illegal drugs. Federal law stipulates five years’ imprisonment without possibility of parole for possession of 5 grams of crack or 3.5 ounces of heroin, and 10 years for possession of less than 2 ounces of rock-cocaine or crack. A sentence of 5 years for cocaine powder requires possession of 500 grams – 100 times more than the quantity of rock cocaine for the same sentence. Most of those who use cocaine powder are white, middle-class or rich people, while mostly Blacks and Latinos use rock cocaine. In Texas, a person may be sentenced for up to two years’ imprisonment for possessing 4 ounces of marijuana. Here in New York, the 1973 Nelson Rockefeller anti-drug law provides for a mandatory prison sentence of 15 years to life for possession of 4 ounces of any illegal drug. The passage in 13 states of the “three strikes” laws (life in prison after being convicted of three felonies), made it necessary to build 20 new federal prisons. One of the most disturbing cases resulting from this measure was that of a prisoner who for stealing a car and two bicycles received three 25-year sentences. Longer sentences. The passage of laws that require minimum sentencing, without regard for circumstances. A large expansion of work by prisoners creating profits that motivate the incarceration of more people for longer periods of time. More punishment of prisoners, so as to lengthen their sentences. real life shawshank....
  6. haven't read this whole thread so don't know if it's been mentioned but watching the presser, Quinn has had some work done on his teeth. watch and you should see what I'm talking about
  7. Vic had 4 sacks in 6 games to end the season. 10 sacks isn’t a stretch if used situationally in nickel and obvious passing downs
  8. Are there really people that are like, "Meh, I'm not sure. I'm still on the fence with this Trump guy". Is that person still out there?
  9. There is no way in H3LL I would make this trade. Falcons get #3. Jets get #14 and Vic Beasley. That's it. If the Jets don't like it, they can keep walking.
  10. I can't think of anything more nightmarish than Bible study with a bunch of blondes.
  11. Watched the Mississippi Braves in Chattanooga tonight. Pache launched a HR, Waters drilled a 2 run double. Waters and Pache both had some good ABs and showed a pretty good knowledge of the zone. Crazy enough Pache committed an error. He misplayed a single into a double. Luis Valenzuela had some impressive ABs as well. He cranked a perfect gapper to the wall to score Pache in the first. His next AB was followed by a sharp liner at the pitcher.
  12. Holy Smokes!! Bernie was one fast Yid back in the day. 4:37 mile on an old cinder track? 15:18 XC 5k? And if he ran as well as he ran. Dude would be President right now. That’s probably faster than @kicker But probably not as fast as a
  13. Smh
  14. Calvin, Tak, Neal, Matthews, Beasley, Trufant, and Julio.
  15. "Censure Trump for misbehavior", you cannot make this she-it up...we got some real winners on here.
  16. I'd like to see more than crushing hits out of Neal, but I suppose that's what he was drafted for.
  17. 46-50 in the last six seasons, with only one division championship and two playoff berths. 7-9 last year.
  18. Eric Holder was Obama's wingman... At the time of Holder’s remarks (so no one can be accused of “whataboutism” in sycophantic defense of Donald Trump) Debra Heine contextualized AG Holder’s and President Obama’s chummy relationship: Nice to know how things work when the Attorney General is the president’s “wingman” and the president is the Attorney General’s “guy.”
  19. I thought we were talking about trench players that were drafted?
  20. Julio, Tru, Jake, Neal, Ridley Jury still out on Takk Even Weatherspoon and Beasley have contributed in meaningful ways. The only legitimate bust over that span was Jerry.
  21. Grady, Jarret, Mack, Schraeder, Irvin, Levitre, Chester Give him credit for everyone he brought
  22. A law made by white men before black people even had the opportunity to vote. Where was their representation in this law.
  23. No doubt Tim! I did that for 10 years!!
