We'll take one of these. We'll lose one in convincing style, and then we'll lose a close one decided on a bad Snitker decision.

Hitting 8th in the NL is the hardest spot in baseball to hit. Don't like putting Dansby there. He's been fine with fastballs and struggling with sliders so lets put him in a spot where he'll get less fastballs and more sliders.

Maybe he will rise to the challenge and it will help his development

That's my thinking. No pressure on him. If he gets on, the pitcher can bunt him over. I really think he'll be free to learn how to really get used to lots of breaking balls and to learn to lay off junk pitches.  I just hope Snitker present it this way to him.

Hellickson has been pretty tough this year. He made quick worth of top 3 there. He's only allowed 11 hits in 18 innings.

Didn't know a lot about him but he looks solid. A has an effortless delivery.

Spent most of his career in the AL with Tampa.

Not a good start to this one. Already 6 hits for the Phillies and the Braves haven't even had a runner.

Hellickson looks pretty unhittable right now.
