Bill O'Reilly reportedly out at Fox

I wonder how Fox News watchers will react to this. Sure he's been accused of sexually assaulting multiple women but O'Reilly is still their biggest draw and they'll likely take the view that the network is bowing down to political correctness. The "family values" crowd won't be happy about this.

If the allegations are true he should be ousted.

So far the recent accusation has little evidence to support it.  he had dinner with a woman and invited her up to his suite in the hotel. She refused, and they both left.  That's not sexual harassment.  If there is more evidence, it should come out. Men have been hitting on women since the beginning of time, and it will never stop, especially on older men as their chances with younger women decrease. It's not always the case, but in many instances, a woman sees a chance to blackmail a wealthy man into a payoff with a threat of a lawsuit, especially if he is famous.  O'Reilly is single and there is nothing wrong with him hitting on a younger woman.....if that's ALL it is. I'm sure there will be  a counter suit and it will be interesting to see ALL the facts come out. Either FOX is just going completely belly up because of sponsors leaving or because of the ridiculous PC virus that is rampant these days.

I've always found him tolerable compared to the likes of the other Fox hot air machines or the Rush's of the world. Hannity just straight deludes himself from from hypocritical partisan position to the next and the number of examples of him blasting liberals and turing around and defending his party of the exact same actions are countless.

O'Reilly was always just a little bit more "common sense" and less hysterical than his counterparts but not without his moments. I've always appreciated how he was never afraid to have lively debates with Jon Stewart and Colbert and I think they respected each other.

I'm gonna have to check in with my dad on this. My dad doesn't always agree with O'Reilly, but he has always liked O'Reilly for his "no nonsense" style. I've never been a fan myself, but I tend to dislike everyone involved in politics so

I just think it's hilarious that he's now being fired for something he accused and denounced Pepsi of promoting a long time ago by having Ludacris in a commercial.

Just from a purely political spectrum, Tucker Carlson is about to be waaay waaay worse. I'm gonna have to scramble to find another another reliable conservative voice to get the other sides perspective without bein constantly screeched at about socialism, flag pins and James O'Keefe being taken seriously as a reliable source.

It's sad but a lot of these conservative figures and commentators are huge hypocrites. It's part of the reason I jokingly put "family values" as one of the tags. The people who extol these "conservatives values" are often the biggest philanderers, drunks, and abusers around. O'Reilly, Roger Ailes, and Rush Limbaugh for example have all shown themselves to be terrible human beings, politics aside.

It's a big part of the reason why I stopped paying attention to conservative media. I think a lot of normal people who believe in that type of stuff are good and decent but when your strongest mouthpieces constantly and consistently show themselves to be pieces of **** you have to start questioning what they're feeding you.

Donald Trump of all people being made the Republican nominee with rave endorsements by a lot of these people really drove home what I'd been feeling.

Another loud conservative mouth piece that turned out to be a huge Hypocrite. Something inherent about being conservative and a hypocrite. So how many of these conservative pundits don't end up being huge hypocrites?

I honestly think most of these guys are just media oriented professional wrestlers putting on a show cause the conservative base is so easy to fool and rile up.

He sorta spoke to that old school conservative spectrum. Not my cup of tea but I've always respected it. Tucker and Hannity on the other hand are a little too friendly with that new wave partisanship at all costs brand of republicanism. Bunch of frat boy conservative justice warriors with no real center or code. If my sides doing it, its good. If your side is doing it, I'm gonna raise heII.

O'Reilly tends to unite the left and right.  I don't know anyone who likes him.

Does anyone actually like O'Reilly? Maybe there will be a commentator with the ability to have a thoughtful discussion on issues other than just yelling, interrupting, and cutting people's feeds. I think I only watched him like 3 times hoping it would get better and every time it was a disappointment. His being fired should have happened a long time ago for being bad at his job.

I also enjoyed Killing Reagan and Killing Patton :ninja:

But Bill also a product of days gone by in alot of other ways and you can't simply treat women like that and expect to coast by on it cause you bring in a lot of dough.
