Would The Falcons have been better off keeping Hester over Weeks in 2016?

Honestly, I think we view the entire kick return thing incorrectly. Until the league figures its equilibrium point out, it almost always makes sense to take the touchback on returns and try to kick the ball right to the endline on kickoffs in an effort to coax a return out of the opponent.

Hester and Weems both have a bit too much of the "I Got this!" to their game. Which burned us on multiple occasions.

I know JD McKissic would be best long term option but it seems like our #1 weakness was we did not have a playmaker on returns. Hester played well in post season.

Nope, it was time to move on

Hester was not the answer, but I do believe that we were much too complacent when it came to our return game. That is surprising to me given how DQ has turned this roster over. I think Devin Fuller was the original plan at KR/PR. However, when he went on IR, a move should have been made.

I say no because he went thru three teams last year

Us, Baltimore and Seattle.

It's not fair to count us.
