Top 5 Falcons on the team RIGHT NOW.

76 posts in this topic

Here's mine, im bored at work don't judge.

1. Julio of course

2. Matt "fuu fukin" Ryan yeah boys he is right there under Julio as most important as well.

3.Tru has to be next in my eyes I almost never get nervous about the ball going his way.

4. Freeman at this point has provided TD a precious day 3 jewel that he can take selfies with and post them on here for years to come for his living fans.

5. I really wanna put Vic up here but he has to show it first so I'm going with a dark horse here. Robert Alford! *drops mic*.

Compared to the league:

1) Julio

2) Tru

3) Mack

4) Free

5) Matt

In order of importance to the team:

1) Matt

and it's not close

I almost ranked them like this, but I tried to stay true to "best at his position" when viewed against his peers. I almost put Bosher 5 and probably should have.

Top 5 players

1) Julio (Troffed!)

2) Tru (<-----baller alert)

3) Mack (I guess I realize the importance of the position now more than ever. Our best offseason move)

4) Freeman (Dude surprised me last year......and kept surprising me)

5) Ryan ( Needs a winning season regardless of stats)

Can't afford to lose....

1) Ryan  (I mean....come on.)

2) Julio (Beast)

3) Mack (It would make a good offseason an average one)

4) Tru (Keep ballin' dude)

5) Beasley ( I'm excited to see his contributions year two)

1: Julio. Best receiver in football

2: Mack. Top 5 center

3: Ryan. Still has a few solid years left of being one of the better QB's in the game

4: Trufant. Top 7 cover corner and only going to get better

5: Freeman. A legitimate franchise RB who can do it all

Honorable mentions go to our offensive tackle tandem of Matthews and Schraeder. Hope to see those guys here for a long time.

Pretty much my exact list.

JJ
Tru
Mack
Ryan
Last spot is the only real tough one. I would probably say Free, though Jake is more important to our team and certainly has an argument to be made in his favour.

Looking at these list and I wish in 2 years we can add a front seven player on defense (beasly for sure). A DT or another LB would be nice. Very offensively skewed.

for example

Carolina

1. Cam

2.Luke

3.Short

4.Davis

5. Olsen or Johnson

It looks like the consensus picks are Julio, Ryan, Tru, Mack, Matthews and Free. Anything jump out at ya? Yep, all but one of em are on the offensive side of the ball. No wonder we're 31st in defensive cap spend and have had one of the worst defenses in the league over the last eight years. Troffed.
