I still say 9-7, playoffs..smitty gets fired and in comes gruden, cowher, or McDaniels...

If we go 9-7 with these injuries no way on earth Smith is fired. He will be hailed as a hero, even though maybe a false one.

I came up at 7-9

@ Forty-Niners - LOSS

this assumes SJAX back after the bye and Roddy only misses one game after the bye - and we do not suffer any more injuries. If Matt Ryan gets hurt, then 3-13 would be the record. Given our offensive line, it could happen.

Exactly how I had it except the Redskins game.

Saints fans have a bet that the Falcons record will be anything below the Saints 7-9 record from 2012.

6-10. Sorry, but that's what I believe. Don't see more than 5 more wins on that schedule. Injuries buy Smitty and TD at least 2 more years.

I will say 8-8 or 9-7 if we have a realalistic shot at the playoffs in week 14 I would bet we win those games.

wow, given the state of the team, surprised to see the most popular option is 9-7. This means we go 8-3 the rest of the way without Julio.

Guess the glass is half-full, huh?

Crankdat, William Moore, putnam and Brandon_Dell - care to elaborate?

I would say it's overflowing.

I will say 7-9. I think Ryan can salvage this offense with the back-up receivers granted our o-line can do a little to protect. However, I have no faith in our defense at all. I think we could reach 9 wins if our defense had a clue.

Coming into this season healthy I had a feeling we would go 10-6 or 9-7. Now with all that has gone on, I think we finish around 7-9.

2 words..

Matt Ryan

People act like we lost our leader..he can put the points up so that won't be the problem...I believe the defense will do just enough to win some games, especially if we are still in the wildcard hunt come week 15, 16 and 17..

Matt Ryan is why I had Falcons going 7-9 and not 5-11. I agree that Matt Ryan is the man.....one thing is for certain - by end of the year we will know if Matt Ryan can carry a team without having "elite" weapons. In some ways, it will clear up a lot of questions some have about Matty Ice.
