For the first sentence, you actually have a valid point.  My own view was never that Bush was "out of his league" regarding government.  I thought his policies were stupid in the sense that they were destructive.  But yeah, several of us simultaneously argued that Bush was not very intelligent and that he was dangerously effective as president.  And we were wrong.  That's why I didn't attack you for making the same mistake.

My perspective over the past few years of the Bush administration is that he was a strong president in terms of executing power and getting his legislation passed.  I disagree with his policies, but I do respect his ability to govern.

I'm perfectly willing to acknowledge my errors in the past.  The problem is that you continue to make the incoherent argument that Obama is incompetent and weak but somehow is a dangerous tyrant consolidating government power.  If the NSA program is a dangerous power grab by the NSA, then your attacks on Obama are misplaced.  If it's Obama who is directly overseeing this program, then your attacks on him are appropriate BUT that means he is not incompetent or weak.  You can't have it both ways.
