Abe Getting Frustrated

37 posts in this topic

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Titans are in discussions about signing free agent John Abraham in a move that could be finalized as soon as this week.

Abraham is coming off a ten-sack, six-forced fumble season while grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 5 overall 4-3 defensive end. The Titans are in all-out win-now mode, hitting free agency hard and trading away a future third-round pick for the six-spot jump in the draft's second round that landed them Justin Hunter. Abraham would fit that criteria because he is 35 years old.

I'd really like the Titans' chances to win the AFC South this season, if not for one thing: Jake Locker.

On the other, I don't agree with lashing out at fans, especially when it's obvious that we all support him and want him back,

I don't think he "lashed out", more like tired of explaining he has no control over coming back over and over again.

Maybe that's too strong a word. Still, he needs to explain that it wasn't his call. Like Peyton said, direct it to Thomas Dimitroff.

Their run game can carry them with their completely revamped interior O-line which should help Chris Johnson regain form. If they do that then Locker can live off play action. Their secondary is a huge question mark though.

If I can get CJ2k in the 2nd this year in fantasy, I'm gonna be all over it.

Abe should just retire.

If he feels like he can play .. then he should continue to play, as long as it's not with one of our rivals ..

Asking him to come back on Twitter is so lame unless it's TD who's asking ...

I can't offer him a new contract, so why ask?

If he doesn't want fans asking him stupid questions on twitter, he shouldn't have a twitter.

Fixed

The majority of people on this planet are stupid. Anybody who has ventured outside knows this. If you don't wanna be exposed to stupid, stay off of social media.

I just guess, that the majority of NFL players feel, they should have a Twitter account for the fans and as a way to communicate to other players.

He's simply asking them to stop the constant : "Come back request" , And people should know that it is out of his hands ..

The way I see it : A few ******* shouldn't decide whether he can have a Twitter account or not, and it's fine by me that he responds the way he does ..

Yea Go Titans!

Hey guys, Titans fan here.

I dropped by to see where the Falcons stand with Abraham, is he as good as done with the Falcons? Cause I'm excited to add him to the Titans, but I'd hate to get all worked up for the Falcons to come back in at the 11th hour and us not land him.

Gotta agree with most of what you said. With the revamped O-Line we can now get back to what we do, pound the rock, and that should really help Jake out quite a bit.

As for our secondary, yes we do have some questionmarks, but not as many as you may think, a lot of our problem came from poor tackling last year, and with Bernard Pollard and some physical rookies, we should be better in that area.
