EdwerderespnEd Werder
According to Elias, Matt Ryan game-winning drive vs. Panthers first in 20 years starting inside own 5, less than minute left. No timeouts

Really? League-wide against any team? It hasn't happened in 20 years? That sounds very strange. Wow!

This is really amazing. See how he doesn't pay any attention to his teammates who come to congratulate him ... The contrast with someone like Ryan is just like black and white

I thought some experts here thought we should trade Ryan for Jake Locker? How could they have been wrong?

Precisely!! Cam thinks his $hit don't stink and hasn't a humble bone in his body.  He completely ignored his team-mates once again.  No leader here.  I imagine his arrogance is not appreciated by many of the men he is supposed to be leading.  You're such an amazing guy cam.  You're just plain awesome.  Wow cam what can we do to be just like you?  You deserve all the glory cam... all the glory.  The guy is now in his second year after playing in just 20 games and he has already establshed himself as a 'me first' man w/ no leadership skills.  Really sad.  Look at the stark contrast between RG3 and cam newton.  That pretty much sums it up for me.

Wow that is just icing on the cake.  The entire episode is still unreal in my mind.  My wife is still giving me crap because i was ready to get up and head to the car when she pulled me back down to my seat rather forcefully.  I am still in shock that we won that game, but to also earn a record doing so just makes it that much sweeter.

You know I am glad you posted that video of Cams celebrating.  I knew his routine irritated me. but before now I never realized how he just ignores his fellow players to perform his showboat.  While I can personally do without all that stuff, it is the fact he celebrates by himself while ignoring teammates that is the most disturbing part really.  It reveals an inner mentality that is not conducive to good teamwork.  This also highlights that being a QB is more than just being able to throw a football.  You are also the team's most visible leader and focus of the media.  While Newton is certainly a great talent, he seems to be lacking in some areas that are important to being a franchise QB.

This is just another reason I love having Ryan as our QB.

You didn't feel it with about 2 minutes left in the 4th.
