Get a gf/wife that will love the game as much as you do. If all else fail talk to her during her favorite show or while she's on the phone. Trust me it will work.

I apply the Million Dollar Dream at approximately 12:55. I am a master of it so she is out cold for 3 hours.

Good luck, hope this helps.  It worked out better than planned for me :-)

This will be my plan B if my implemented method ever fails.

Realistically. Its 1-3 games a week. They last about 3hrs a piece and the season itself is only about 4mos. If something I like that much is that unbearable and for that short of a period...I have to wonder about things a little deeper. That means you want me to stop enjoying something that I completely enjoy.

Think about that for a minute. Does that make any sense?

No, makes no sense at all...but we are talking about WOMEN..

They will usually interrupt or be against anything you like just because it brings you a joy that they don't understand. They want to be the one and only thing that makes you happy..

I have a friend who recently got married, he told her up front that he played video games and watched the falcons, and as long as she never had a problem with that, then he would never have a problem with her shopping.

I came in here for good one liners and instead I see paragraphs and journal entries.

Tell them to go on shopping sprees? Goodness, I'm happy I'm still in college.

Two things that I find amusing as HeII.

1. They nag us to death over a couple of games each week.
But how many times do you have to endure the gawd awfull pain
of the Ice Capades, Ballet, and the endless parade of Plays at the theater,
The LMN Network and countless Chick Flicks?

Somebody Shoot Me Please.

2. All youse guys on here that have wives and Girlfriends that actually
like or should I say "Allow You" to enjoy football are on here making
no contributions to this topic at all and are simply Bragging.

Yall need to ,,,, oh nevermind.

Ha! Sorry bro. My wife is pretty awesome during football season. When I lived in Indiana, she picked up Falcons- Colts tickets for my graduation. Actually bought my ticket, and my little Bro and Grandpa tickets (They're both colts fans). Also, when we were "dating", she often got oddly aroused during games. She is a very "giving" soul... Can't complain at all.

I remember there being some event of hers that she really wanted me to check out (baby shower, bridal shower, something...) and it was during the Nola game. Her mom was in town and she really wanted me to go. So I agreed, and was just going to watch highlights and such on my phone. Instead of taking me to the event, she dropped me off at my "go-to" sports bar and told me she would be back in a few hours to pick me up...

The only time she ever asked me to relax was when the kid was young. I was hooting and hollering during one of the primetime games, and the kid was trying to sleep (he was only a few months old). She just asked me to calm myself...

I have the best wife. she bought me season tickets as our anniversary gift. it was to be for whoever I wanted to take. but once she went to the first game, she wanted to go to the rest. she renews them every year. now she is saying we should go out of town if our first game is an away game. she started it last year with going to chicago, and now we are going to arrow head this year.

so I have no complaints. I have the best wife I could ever ask for. she even goes to the TC, FNL, etc. you name it and she is there right beside me. she knows what to look for and does not sit there and ask, "what is a bubble screen?" she loves only the falcons and gives everyone else **** if they do not like football and/or another team.

just curious but does anyone else have a better wife?

and before someone says I just wanted to brag....I am not going to lie.....I AM BRAGGING. lol

I married her Twin.....

When I got married I told her I will give up everything else except Sundays, photography and the gym. Occasionally she will make plans but it never affects me....but 95% of the time she hangs out and cooks for me and whatever friends show up. But...she does hate the fantasy part, cause Im on the cpu alot more throughout the week than I am during the offseason.
