Vick said he could have done more, which is a humble thing to say.  I guess you could see it as a fault.
We're not talking about the him now. We're talking about the him then, and the him back then was immature and his lack of dedication was partially to blame for that loss, among others.

Mora lacked the ability to get players to focus on football, so it wasn't Vick's fault.  White also didn't dedicate himself to football until Robiskie?  and Horn laid down the law.  Had someone done the same with Vick, this would have been a different story.  Falcons would be Superbowl champions like Vick said and Ryan would be the QB of the Browns or some other team no one cares about.

Where are all of the Eagles super bowls with the 'new' Vick? Oh yea, he hasn't even won a playoff game with them.

Lol...keeping consistent with his career tho....the Eagles can at the least expect a record of better than 8-8 this season

FFS70- there was the story back then Vick could have saved Reeves job ....Blank  went to Vick and asked him ..
Vick also took his sweet *** time  from his 03' injury   and Reeves wasnt thrilled bout that  and some tension started to go down between the two ..
A story by who? YasAss? Pastabelly?

Watch the frkn tapes bro.

We were on track.

Blank panicked.

Should have waited at least one more year.

If he was gonna pull the plug he should have kept Wade who all the vets wanted to keep. Not Mora or Quitrino. Jeez folks.

Worst Blank move to date.

Having Mora sure didn't make things better.  Jimmy Williams is another guy Mora couldn't get to focus.

Vick is a sociopath. You cannot cure sociopathy, but suppress it. Sociopaths are capable a feigning emotion, in this case remorse.

Anyway, could woulda shoulda doesn't mean squat. He didn't. He was too busy getting his sadism on.

Vick just tryna kiss azz and sell that book. He wants people to feel sorry for him, or get on their good side. Probably gotta earn some extra monies for the wifey. Vick wasn't going to win a SuperBowl with us or anyone else. Vick sold tickets that's all. Brooking, Kerney, and Mort won games. He says if he knew what he knows now and studied harder he would've blah blah blah. If I knew what I know now and studied harder I'd be a billionaire and living like Hef. A hard work ethic is a learned behavior. If your being rewarded to do less you'll always do less. He had no reason to study. He didn't care about this team, city, or its fans. If he never got caught he never would've picked up a playbook. He was broke, filed bankruptcy and still owes money til this day. The only way he could get a job as a 3 string backup QB was to study the book and learn the plays. Also even IF Vick would've studied the playbook would we have had the money to build a SB team back then. Wasn't Vick contract like $127M

its every single  post luciferfan is complaining ..I think he copy and paste his rants

haaaa its ridiculous ...I hear there have been mods using double accounts to draw ratings ....I just ask one question to the MODS and if they can answer me in PM   why  am I getting banned ?

ASK FF70 or any long time poster..I was 10x worse  on old boards criticizing Vick and I was never BANNED NOT ONCE

I criticize Matt Ryan I get banned...I have been same poster for past 10 years  ..yet only getting banned last 2 ..
Moderation was different back then, COC was interpreted much more loosely, it's changed since then and you haven't adapted.

but mainly what's changed is your posting style. Back then, you gave Vick he##, but you also talked about many other subjects. And, when you defended yourself, you used humor and stayed, mostly, within the bounds of COC.

Today, you have 3 subjects: how bad Ryan is, how bad TD is and how often you get banned. You simply insult other posters, often preemptively, you post the same ish over and over again.
You get banned because you break COC.

There a lot of posters here who have no idea you can actually talk football, because you haven't done that the last couple of years. You've simply gone on rants about Ryan and TD. And yes, you have posted on other things besides Ryan and TD, but for every post you make about other subjects, I can pull up 200 with you ranting about Ryan & TD.

And yes, you get banned quicker than others, seems like the mods hold people who are repeatedly banned to a stricter standard, give them a shorter leash. That's a perfectly sensible policy, one you seem unable to adapt to.

And it may be that you get  into a pi##ing contest with another poster, you both break COC and you get banned while he gets warned. See above-you're on a shorter leash and, here's the point you always overlook- you DID break COC.

Love to have the old swift back, he was funny and informative, current version is simply cranky and repetitive.

I watch a lot of comedy, but when a guy openly says he was not mature, dedicated or even really interested in learning the position...he just wanted to skate on lying and his talent, your take, and trying to shift this as Vick just being "humble" is one of the funniest things I have seen on this board in a long time.

Another thing I would like to bring up is, I think you have sorted yourself out a good bit Mr. Wrong.  While guys like Swift and Phil are doing the pit bull (pun intended) impersonation with their unending quest to pull back the curtain on Ryan and his mediocre game manager talent, and getting banned seemingly every 15 minutes, you have quietly become less of a troll and more of a guy with an opposing, although misguided view.  Props.

In the Vick era I would say Andy Reid cost us in 2002 and Byron Scott and the run defense cost us in 2004. Very close but no real cigar.
We put up 10 points in the championship. How is that the run defense's fault? Run defense wasn't great in that game but that 2004 offense should have been able to score more than 27 points.

Vick is a crumy 8-8 QB. What a loser....  He only had one decent season 10 years ago.  The rest have been sorry.  Stop living in the past.

I know a lot of folks are heartbroken Vick not living in a shelter and digging ditches for a living, but they'll just have to get over it.

Yea Vick would have actually had to get Atlanta there in the first place. something I don't think he will ever do for any team.

He came closer to beating the eventual super bowl champions the packers than any other team did in the playoffs. That was with Akers missing two field goals  (6 points) and Celeks stepping out of bounds and negating a two point conversion. They lost by 5 points. You do the math. Honestly, he can  win one.

That was the same Packers team that embarrassed Matt Ryan and us and beat us by like 30 points LOL.

At least Vick manned up and own up to it. As he did not blame anybody but himself. But glad that the team now has Matt Ryan. And is just needs to take it to the next level.
