I just saw War Blogle saying he's reading that Ed Christian, Eric Mack and Ladarious Phillips were allegedly shot. Zac Etheridge just tweeted "Praying for Ed family I can only imagine them getting that phone call tonight!!"

Sad, may they rest in peace.

Whatever happened can't justify such violence.

Truly awful news.  I lived at that apartment complex my sophomore year.

When I saw this last night it was just stunning. I can't believe something like this happened to at Auburn. It's stunning.

This kind of stuff happens more than you might think, sadly... and it can happen anywhere.  We may believe our communities are safe, but you just never know.  I am very sad to hear this news.  Thoughts and prayers going out to the families and the community.  This kind of thing sends shockwaves through the whole community, so my thoughts are definitely with them as well.

This is the kind of thing that goes way beyond football. The fact that football players were killed is irrelevant. This is about young men who had their whole lives in front of them being struck down in their prime.

I can to a point.  When I lived there, things got out of control at the pool on a somewhat regular basis.  People had way too much to drink and acted stupid.  I don't remember any fights, but I'm sure they happened.  I'm shocked that it escalated to the point of gunfire and death though.

That is just horrible news. This is going to affect a lot of people, and my thoughts and prayers are with everyone it involves.

Fighting and other things is one matter, opening gun fire on a group of people is a whole another level that I just can't believe happened down there.
