Week 2 prime time game?  Just like last year we'll see Ryan prove his excellence.

His wide receivers are fine. You'll get a chance to how good and young they are when they don't have to try to catch passes from a tard.

Bye the way you have'nt seen him throw in a over a year so he may not be the same Manning he used to be and besides I don't think Manning's first 3yrs in the league was any better than Ryan and your secondary still stinks

Wait I'm confused, do you think I'm a Broncos fan? What gave you that impression.

I simply made the point that you'll be able to see how good his receivers are when they actually get to catch passes from someone who can throw a football forward. Eric Decker is a star in the making, watch. He'll be the next Brandon Stokely/Austin Collie/Blair White/many other anonymous never-heard-of white receivers that Manning has made look like Pro Bowlers over the years.

Everything that has been said about Peyton Manning is that he's throwing the ball just like he always has.

I'm not even sure I understand the "Manning's first three years not being any better than Ryan" comment. That isn't even relevant to the conversation.

Can someone please explain to me why this game is not being played in Denver??  Because I thought that the league ws supposed to be on a home and away schedule for interdivisional matchups.  The Broncos were in ATL four years ago (when Roddy dropped the game winning pass in the endzone in the last minute of the game... anybody remember that??).   I live in Colorado and have been counting the years for my chance to watch Matty Ice and my Falcons here in Bronco Stadium.  I guess I get screwed out of my chance to see my team live.

It'll be his 2nd game in almost two years with a new team. I like our chances!

It has something to do with the making our travel easier IIRC.  Instead of traveling to both SD/Den, we only have to travel to SD and KC.  Someone wrote about this a while back, but I can't recall who wrote it.

*edit*

found it.

2009 rule:

A 2009 announcement from the NFL stated that they would modify the schedule rotation pairings beginning in 2010 so that teams facing the entire NFC West or the entire AFC West on their schedule would not be required to make two trips to the West Coast in the same season for those games. Under this policy, any teams facing the AFC West will play EITHER at Oakland and at Denver OR at San Diego and at Kansas City. Likewise, any team facing the entire NFC West will play EITHER at San Francisco and at Arizona OR at Seattle and at St. Louis.

The NFL doesn't do their schedule like that. Case in point: We're going to Detroit for the 2nd year in a row.

Tough to make an appealing schedule when you have so many teams and so few games
