I'm not that new to these boards, as I've been lurking them since 2007, but I've never seen a meetup arranged. Most of us live anear Atlanta so have we ever arranged one? Unfortunately, I haven't lurked long enough to see it.

Seems like a few years ago there was a meeting at Taco Mac. LOL, I know there's been a few here in the past discussing meeting at the Waffle House, although I don't think they were planning on shaking hands or nothing like that.

They have a MBGT (message board get together) every fall in Sandy Springs/Roswell area....only been to one but it was a great deal of fun.

Sadly, I'm in Mobile, Alabama...and have never been to a Falcons game.

Yes, there is a message board get together every season. We normally watch the home opener, but last year it was the Panthers game in the middle of October as our first 2 home games were Sunday Night games.

The last few years we've stayed at the Fairfield Inn and Suite, Perimeter.

The weekend festivities start with a beer tour on the Fridat night and Saturday afternoon organised by Shiney McShine, followed by a cookout in the hotel on saturday night.

Yea I have meet up with a few people from here. Latest one was a few of us meet up at Chicago. It was fun, I would greatly hang out again with people from here. I know some of the people here do tail gatting, and I will probably stop by a few of them.

I've met Moderator, Cappy, Rev, Farmer2, Gazoo, Banker, Shiney, Direwolf, Bellis. Antmellenium, Mozzie, SCFalcon, Sac, ClownOrg, Shay, Cooter, you name it. Good people. Trust me.

I'm not sure what everyone would think, but I have wondered about setting up a football tournament for all interested people on the board. I mean, we all like talking about it and I think most of us like playing, so could be fun. Group 1 and Group 2 could really get it on then

Interseting, the original poster said he has lurked these Boards since 2007 and EVERY year there is the meet and greet as you described.  I wonder....has he really???

There's usually one every year at the Dome.
