The Falcons are 2-5 against the Saints in the games Ryan has started. But Ryan has solid numbers against the Saints.

156 of 261 [59.8%], 1952 YDS [7.5 avg], 10 TD, 5 INT - 87.8 QB Rating.

So with those numbers against the Saints you would think the Falcons would have a better record against the Saints. But that's not totally his fault. But on the flip side the Falcons are 6-2 against the Bucs in the games Ryan has started and Ryan's numbers against the Bucs aren't good.

127 of 222 [57.2%], 1478 YDS [6.7 avg] 8 TD, 9 INT - 72.6 QB Rating.

This is proof that Matt Ryan gets too much blame and too much credit on this message board. It's also why I still stand behind him and don't solely blame him for the Falcons being 0-3 in the playoffs.

The problem with Ryan is that the best he can do agaisnt good competition is only solid. Thats why people on these boards want Ryan gone because he's not great and cannot carry a team on his back.

Hard to carry a team on your back when you're always flat on your back. But Ryan has proven he can face a team that has a top notch defense and still lead the Falcons to a win while playing solid.

When Matt is at his best we are unbeatable, but we shouldn't need him to play perfect all the time. Brees had a bad game against the Niners and they still managed to put 30+ points on the board. Ryan nor the Falcons have that luxury, and it begins on the inside.

AND.......expect that to change for the best this upcoming season. Don't think for a minute that Blank has been happy with getting to the playoffs but then laying an egg. With a new stadium in sight within a couple years don't think he isn't working behind the scenes for a trip to the SB soon. We've been knocking on the door long enough. It's time that door opens.

The overall negativity in this board is soul wrenching.  We have a solid team.  With some tweaks, we can be a great team.  Allow things to morph into what the Falcons are trying to do before judgement is passed.  I for one am very excited by this team.

You mean the 4 people that have like 30 different usernames between them?

Most real fans appreciate Matt Ryan.
