Pete Carmichael (Saints OC) has already showed that he's capable of filling in when Sean Payton got injured and had to stay in the press box this season

Guilty by association.  Don't be surprised if he gives every coach involved with the team some sort of punishment.  There is no way that everyone from the GM to the 53rd man on the roster knew but him.

Exactly why I feel Benson will clean house when all is said and done.

So apparently the possibility of the Saints losing draft picks and their personnel being suspended and fined is not relevant to the Falcons what so ever.Posted Image   I guess I should have posted a "I'm 10 years old and here is my mock draft" or "Ryan Leaf is a free agent so...".

Just had to laugh because I know a certain mod allows the trolly smack talk topics to stay on the front page of TATF and just says people shouldn't bump the post.

Seriously though, at least put this in Rival Central where it has more entertainment value if you don't think it is relevant to a team the Falcons play twice a year and battle for first place in the division every year.

Anyone offended by my use of 4 asterisks then I apologize.

Sock it to 'em, Mr. Goodell.  Make 'em pay for their crime.

Always knew the "Taints" were a bunch of "low-lifes"...

Sometimes this place reminds me of a college basketball game where the refs stop play every 12 seconds with a whistle.  If the board was really busy, I'd understand.  I think it is pretty lame.

I understand your need for help when it comes to leveling the wide gap between our teams but spygate didn't cripple the Patriots that bad! We stink at 1st round picks so I'm not worried about that as long as they dnt take all our picks we will still when the south! Who dat , we also lost SP for as many games as they will suspend him for and Micky has no effect on our on the feild play. Sorry to crash y'all party lol
"when"? Typical and expected.

You guys are kinda slow on the uptake, aren't you?

Being suspended from the team means absolutely no contact with anyone at all for the duration... no input, no coaching, no calls, no decisions, no film watching, no gameplan installation, no NOTHING.

It's completely different than being the head coach all week, instilling the gameplan, watching film, tweaking the plays, running practices, then turning all that info over on gameday while still being available for input, call changes... just wow at how you think it's the same thing.

Wow, you really have a low opinion of your fellow Falcon Fans who post here, and hey I am with you completely, but I even think they get that his prayers have been answered.

Peyton was still at the games in complete communication with his staff. Plus he was still installing the game plan despite being injured. If he is suspended, I assume that will mean he cannot be in contact with the team, nor at any of the team facilities. Just like a player suspension. Otherwise, whats the point of suspending a coach?

What I'd like to add to this bounty crap is the risk of a player spending the rest of his life in a nursing home. I know this might be the extreme as far as an example but it could happen. Or could it already have happened that way and we just don't know?

GW will get an 8 game suspension plus a hefty fine.

SP will get a 4 game suspension plus a hefty fine.

Loomis will get the same as SP I think.
