I do like this year's FA w/out the agents being in place.However, I will also support the sign & trading of FA's as well.There could be a cap hit charged & an easy method to use.whatever the YR 1 cap hit is, either use that full amount or atleast 50% of that amount to be removed from a team's cap space.

IE - Llyod was a $500k hit, I believe.OAK trades him.OAK has $7.5M remaining in cap, subtract that full $500k or atleast $250k from my remaining cap.Another idea/suggestion is to enforce this, break up the FA into phases.Such as do a day or 2 for 3-4 positions, another day or 2 for another 3-4 positions.The FA phase would last a little longer, however the IMD could either start earlier or reduce the draft pick time for ALL rds.

I still don't like it, then free agency is pointless.  Free agents don't sign with teams to be traded.  Free agency would turn into teams using the cap room that Robb gives them to buy draft picks essentially.  You could sign Brees and trade him for a 1st and 2nd if you could offer him the most money, etc.  Same for Lloyd or any player.  Sign and stay.  Maybe only minimum salary signs can be traded, but there has to be cap ramifications.

I agree. Sign and trades could corrupt our game. It does happen, but not often. I truly believe the Raiders weren't trying to do anything malicious, but I think in the future we should avoid those situations.

Yeah, I was not trying to corrupt the IMD by any means.If any chance tha trade was declined, I would have not become pissy over it.Or any trade for that matter.
