What kind of sick sad world do you live in? Name the top exclusives for 360 please. I will help you out:

1. Halo
2. Gears of War
3. Forza Motorsports
4. Fable
5. Alan Wake
6. Left 4 Dead

Top PS3 exclusives:

1. MLB The Show
2. Uncharted
3. Heavy Rain
4. Gran Turismo
5. God of War
6. InFamous
7. Resistance
8. Little Big Planet
9. ModNation racers
10. Socom
11. Ratchet and Clank
12. Jak N Daxter
13. should I continue?

I will help you with the Xbox:

Skyrim - it's not exclusive but it also doesn't lock up after playing for too many hours and you can actually finish the game
Mass Effect - and you could import your character into Mass Effect 2 because of it
Bioshock - I think this went on PS3 about 2 years after
Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion
Orange Box - the one that had a decent and smooth framerate
the first Dead Rising
and a ton of better arcade games

Not to mention that Gears, Fable, Forza, and Halo all have highly regarded sequels.

Heavy Rain - very overrated
Gran Turismo - have it, but Forza is better
Resistance - really?  This series isn't fun, but it was the only decent shooter on the system for a while
ModNation Racers - really?!?
Socom - wow, this series is awful and very generic and you think it's good???
Jak and Daxter - there's not a J&D game that isn't an HD remake on the system

And the best thing about 360 is when you get on multiplayer there are actually other people playing online.

Let me help you...Exclusive means NOT available on any other console. Every 360 game you listed can be found on PS3. Face it. PS3 is the superior system in terms of exclusives. Your pathetic attempt at bashing Playstation online with "when I want to play online on xbox I can because there are people to play " is stupid and asinine.. I have not ONCE had trouble finding someone to play against.

And to further push the point that PS3 is the superior system, the paid subscription service on PS3 is FAR beyond anything Xbox Live has to offer. Sure some of the games aren't great, but anytime I can pay $60 for a yearly subscription and get well over $200 of free games (sonic 2, Streets of Rage 2, all Crash Bandicoot games, All Spyro The Dragon games, All Syphon Filter games, etc..)in just a few months, I will be MORE than happy. Meanwhile, the only thing $60 gets on you an xbox 360 is a chance to play online.

Get back to me when they put it on PC or 360. Seriously im not buying a PS3 jut to play MLB and Ratchet and Clank.. Maybe if PS3s were 80$, but not 200

The reason The Show is only on PS3 and not 360 is because The Show is made by Sony so it's only on the Sony console. It will never be on 360 or PC because both Microsoft programs. 360 is made by Microsoft and PC runs on microsoft programs.

Let me ask this....why would I wait two years to play those 'non-exclusive' games when I could have them from Day One?  So you're saying PS1 wasn't a good system because apparently it didn't have any exclusives because they are all available on PS3 now over a decade later?

And how was playing online during the 2 months it was down last year?  I remember getting on Killzone 2 and it took forever to find a game that was going on.  If I look at my friends list on PS3(for the few that actually have one) they haven't logged on in weeks and often in months.

Meanwhile they are all playing 360 nearly everyday.

Also, I have to ask....you really think Socon is a good game???

And yet again a pretty decent discussion devolves into a PS3 vs. XBOX360 fanboy war.

Let's try to stay on topic everyone.  Keep your ADHD in check!

I think it's just a PS3 fanboy.

I play both systems so I remain open to both.  I just stated that this is one of the two games a year I play on it in addition to Uncharted.

I'm not sure. I've never been online before. I just got online about a month ago and haven't gotten The Show 12 yet. But I would think you would be able to.

There is no "franchise" mode per say. However, you can still make trades, etc. in what they have labeled is League play. reason being is in Madden it takes roughly 2 months to get through a 16 game season and playoffs. Even if you were to play 1 game a day in The Show, it would still take you half a year to play just one season.

So what they've done was allowed you to make your own custom schedule. You can do 32 games, 64 games, etc. I've never taken part in the leagues, but I know they are there.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dharma, i'm not a PS3 fanboy. I have only had a PS3 since 2009 when I stumbled upon MLB 07 The Show in wal-mart. After playing the abomination that was MLB 2K9 where a ball against the outfield wall would cause the outfielder to do barrell rolls instead of picking the ball up was considered acceptable to pass through testing, I needed a change. I was at my Base Exchange on base overseas in Italy, WAITING on relase day to get my 360. I've HAD a 360 since day one, and STILL have one. However, the better exclusives are on the PS3. How did the two months of online gaming go for me during the hack? I don't know, I was deployed at the time so it didn't really bother me too much. If your sole reasoning for trying to bash a PS3 is because of the two month downtime, you are a sad sad troll. Judging by the fact that you DON'T own a PS3, and have not EXPERIENCED owning a PS3, I don't expect to you fully understand just how incredible it is. Graphically, PS3 wins. Paid online content, PS3 wins. Online gameplay, sure, go ahead and give the nod to 360. High defenition capability - PS3. To sit there and say that 360 is the superior system without owning a PS3, only shows your fanboyism for 360.

My PS3 collected dust between the Show 11 and Uncharted 3.  It's been collecting dust until the Show 12 and it might not get anymore action after that.

PS3 is probably more powerful than 360, but 360 has it beat in games by miles and miles

That was the case a few years ago, due to a one year head start but that isn't the case any longer.  They are pretty close, though I would give the slight edge to PS3 right now.

Yes you can play the 1 vs 1. I havent really explored any on the Diamond Dynasty feature so im not sure how that works but I think thats more of your management skills and not gameplaying skills

I own both systems and to be honest the only  time I turn on my PS3 is to play The Show, or to watch a blu-ray movie.

The Show is the best sports game out there.

Diamond Dynasty is INCREDIBLE! Some Cliff notes...

- It plays like Madden's Ultimate Team

- You earn money by playing games. For head to head games, you earn 60% of the winnings playing against a person. If you play the CPU, how much you win is based on the team you are playing and the difficulty you are playing on. So for instance, if you play the Red Sox on rookie, you might only win $4,000. However, if you beat them on Legend difficulty, you could rake in $15,000.

- You have "franchise" players, and you have MLB players. Franchise players are randomly generated players with particular skill sets. They are categorized into bronze, silver, gold, platinum. You can edit every detail of the franchise players from name to looks. With the money you earn, you can either buy packs of cards, or you can use the money to train these franchise players. Their aptitude and some other ratings will determine how well the training goes over.

- Most franchise players can play anywhere from 30-45 games, while MLB Players only last about 10-15 games

- Uniform editor is simply incredible. For those of you who are familiar with the livery design in Forza Motorsports, it rivals that, and I believe you can have up to 1,000 layers for the uniform editor. There have been some pretty awesome designs made so far.

Everyone is different... people prefer one system over another for any number of reasons.  A few years ago the quantifiable value of "better games" was definitely in the 360's favor, but the PS3 has made huge strides in that area and I would honestly say it's a push at this time.  MLB The Show is definitely a great reason to get a PS3, among many others, but if you are set up with your gaming on the 360 and baseball is the only thing you can't get your gaming fix on with it then obviously your PS3 will collect dust when you're not playing The Show or watching Blu-Ray movies.

Whether your PS3 collects dust or gets regular use really means nothing.  There are plenty of people who play their PS3 every day and own both consoles.

But anyway... I was thinking about picking up The Show 12.  I don't really know why but I'm feeling more into baseball this year.  Really haven't followed it closely too much since the strike (yeah)... but I guess it's catching back up to me.  Well, that and watching Moneyball a few times.
