I decided to try to find out who has the hardest interleague play schedule this year. Here how I did it. I took the team and factored in the record of their opponents and then divided it by the amount of games played. If a team has 2 series against 1 team I factored in that team twice to make it fair. So using the Braves I added of the record of the Yankees [Twice], Blue Jays, Orioles, Rays and Red Sox. Those teams record added up and divided by games played equals .540. That turned out to be the hardest interleague play schedule of any team this year. Home or Away wasn't factored in. Here's the results I got.

1. Braves - .540 - Yankees [Twice], Blue Jays, Orioles, Rays and Red Sox
2. Marlins - .538 - Rays [Twice], Red Sox [Twice], Blue Jays and Indians
3. Mets - .537 - Yankees [Twice], Orioles, Blue Jays and Rays
4. Blue Jays - .531 - Mets, Nationals, Phillies, Braves, Brewers and Marlins
5. Twins - .531 - Brewers [Twice],Cubs, Phillies, Pirates and Reds
6. Astros - .521 - Rangers [Twice], Royals, Indians and White Sox
7. Rockies - .516 - Mariners, Angels, Athletics, Tigers and Rangers
8. Orioles - .515 - Nationals [Twice], Phillies, Pirates, Braves and Mets
9. Reds - .512 - Indians [Twice], Tigers, Twins and Yankees
10. Royals - .512 - Cardinals [Twice], Diamondbacks, Brewers, Pirates and Astros
11. Nationals - .511 - Orioles [Twice], Yankees, Rays, Red Sox and Blue Jays
12. Athletics - .507 - Giants [Twice], Padres, Dodgers, Diamondbacks and Rockies
13. Rays - .507 - Marlins [Twice], Braves, Mets, Nationals and Phillies
14. Angels - .503 - Dodgers [Twice], Diamondbacks, Giants, Padres and Rockies
15. Cubs - .501 - White Sox [Twice], Tigers, Red Sox and Twins
16. Red Sox - .501 - Marlins [Twice], Nationals, Braves, Phillies and Cubs
17. Mariners - .491 - Padres [Twice], Dodgers, Padres, Rockies and Diamondbacks
18. Giants - .490 - Athletics [Twice], Rangers, Mariners and Angels
19. Cardinals - .489 - Royals [Twice], Indians, White Sox and Tigers
20. Pirates - .487 - Tigers [Twice], Royals, Twins, Orioles and Indians
21. Diamondbacks - .486 - Athletics, Mariners, Rangers, Angels and Royals
22. Phillies - .486 - Red Sox, Rays, Orioles, Twins and Blue Jays
23. Yankees - .485 - Braves [Twice], Mets [Twice], Reds and Nationals
24. Dodgers - .484 - Angels [Twice], White Sox, Mariners and Athletics
25. Padres - .481 - Mariners [Twice], Angels, Rangers and Athletics
26. White Sox - .480 - Cubs [Twice], Astros, Brewers, Cardinals and Dodgers
27. Tigers - .470 - Reds, Pirates, Rockies, Cardinals, Cubs and Pirates
28. Indians - .461 - Reds [Twice], Marlins, Pirates, Cardinals at Astros
29. Rangers - .448 - Astros [Twice], Diamondbacks, Rockies, Giants and Padres

I think the new format of interleague play all year long once the Astros join the AL will be a lot better than the current format since you see some teams playing much harder teams like the Braves being #1 and Phillies being #22 in this formula

I was told today that even when that goes into effect that no team will play anymore than 20 interleague games. I have no on earthly idea how they can have interleague play all year and limit it to 20 games at the same time.
