then I asked if they forgot all of last season that is actually the most recent? and followed it up with saying how we are 13-3.
I just think throwing **** to each other is just silly but you did right. But not to be a buzzkill but the most recent history is we got beat by them last sunday....

Thanks for saying my wife is hott.

but when someone comes into these message boards (falcons home message board) and say something stupid, I will come back with something stupid. I only respect those who should be respected. Saints anger, Johnny buc and BIG A are a few that I have respect for. but someone who has less then a 500 post is more then likely just wanting to start a internet fight and probably just a bandwagon fan.

but I am sorry for the katrina thing. but I do find it messed up how many other fans you have in y'alls dome. 50,000 person waiting list? and there is still falcons, panthers, bucs, and bear and packers fans in your dome. and it's not just a few, it is a ton. you have to agree with me that it is sad.
You do realize the League has a rule for each Stadium to set asside enough tickets to the Opposing team in everyone's home, if those tickets aren't bought before a certain time period those tickets are sold back to the home team ticket office to sell to the home fan's..
No one has outnumbered Saints fans for over 12 years in the Superdome,  I know because i am a Season Ticket holder of 14 years and im 32 years old, so as soon as i COULD get tickets i got em and recently upgraded them myself, we don't have an upgrade guy because we have a Waitinglist that many teams envy...

And the Katrina Jokes are pointless and frankly i could have done better with it but we're talking about 7 years later here, If i wanted to tell an old Joke i could just bring up Falcon's existence in the league, thats an age old joke worth telling.

the reason y'all don't have seat upgrades because there is no where to upgrade to. it is all a swamp down there. and your stadium still isn't fixed from all the flooding from the katrina.

and it is really really sad that your seats are sold out, yet there is so many other fans in your dome. guess you don't have alot of true fans and just have a bunch of bandwagon fans. we don't have a waiting list so I can understand why there is other fans in our domes. but y'all have a waiting list and yet y'all still get ran over with other fans. steelers, packers, bears, and even the lions don't have a problem with this.

LMAO.. I love to read the Jealous post of Jealous Failcon's.... It's sad and funny at the sametime, they slam the only dome that has hosted and is still landing the "MOST" Superbowls..  Has The SugerBowls, The BCS Championship games, The College Final Four Championship games all locked up for the next 5 years, Upgraded and expanded it's seating Capacity from 71,000 to 76,468 and still fills it up to the Max with a still increasing waitinglist bursting at the seams,  You have a Stadium in Atlanta that cant land a Major event unless they create one themselves, it sits around Coke Headquarters, Chick-fil-a Headquarters, CNN Main news center, Delta Airlines main Hub, Arby's headquarters, Aarons Headquaters, The Athlete's Foot headquarters, Cox Communications headquarters, Turner Broadcasting Headquarters, Earthlink Headquarters, Hooters Headquarters, NAPA AutoParts Headquarters, RaceTrac Headquarters, SunTrust Bank Headquarters, UPS Headquarters even Arthur Blanks "HOME DEPOT! FOR CHRIST SAKES!!"
Yet Can't get naming rights for your pathetic Tent Dome and it's been around since 89?  Ya'll not getting the hint?!!  NOBODY LIKES YA'LL! not even your hometown businesses.. it's sad to have all them Corperations and not one of them surrounding your joint and each and everyone of them even your Team owner's Co-owned Company turns it's nose up at the Georgia Dome. lmao, New Orleans don't have nearly as many corporations around and we had Verizon and Mercedes Benz in the office for Naming rights, Mercedes put up the money faster and it made more sense for Tom Benson..   The Old Dome still overshadow's other Domed stadiums and many open Stadiums, She's even more Beautiful than she was before and with the added Verizon Sponsored Champion Square she's to be respected,  Hated by our haters but respected non-the less.

I did not know there were a set amount that that had to be sold to opposing fans. how does that actually work out? do that go to the eagles and sell them 20,000 tickets to the game, or just try to find people.

I find it hard to believe that y'all do not have were 2 people out of the whole stadium can not have there seats upgraded. I have been to the Steelers games many of times and they had it. and they are always packed. I am not sure of there waiting list but I assume it is long.

I have friends who are Giants fans who said the waiting list for them is crazy and it is said the only way you can get season tickets is if you inherit them. And when I mentioned what I was hearing from the saints, they mentioned they do seat upgrades.

Maybe you do not realize it because it is basically the first people who walk in the door and walk up to the top section.  for my seat upgrades I was there almost an hour early.

you mentioned a lot of corpations and are right that a good bit of them are next to the dome.

sadly I understand why. It ticks me off, but I understand why. not having a back to back winning season 1966-2009. Superbowl only once and did not win.
now we are moving and becoming a winning season team. 3 consistent winning seasons so far and it looks like we should have another one and another playoff chance. we do need to win playoffs though, and I believe it will happen and happen a lot.

plus everyone realizes the NFC south is a hard fighting division. some have said it is one of the latest hardest ones. last year we almost had you, us, and bucs going to the playoffs. and this year it will be the saints and falcons probably going again. this will help us.

once we do win a few playoffs then we will start to get a lot more fans. I'm not a fan of bandwagon fans but that will be what happens.

and if we are building a new dome in about 6 years, then I know someone will buy into our dome. just like Benz did with y'all.

Yeah every other blue moon you have people who can't afford to keep their seats so SMG (the company that runs the Superdome call people or email them and ask them if they would like an upgraded seat, that seat is quickly absorbed and someone from the Waitinglist gets a new seat..
So yeah we have upgraded ticket people but unless we ever come down from this high i doubt they'll be just strolling up and down the stadium having a conversation with Rabid fan's about upgrading seats, you wont get heard in the Superdome, if ya'll are able to hear perfectly well in the Georgia dome during games about upgrading and such more power to you..

I got my seats upgraded almost an hour before kickoff. I know y'alls stadium is not packed out an hour before kickoff. So I am sure y'all can carry on a conversation at that time.

but thats nice that they call a season ticket holder. more so our seat upgrades are usualy for people who are in the noise bleeds. but since I "rised up" and defend out season ticket person, he elected to upgrade me.

Ouch.. that wouldn't seem fair to everyone else who is stuck in traffic or handicapped and didn't have a chance to upgrade their seats because their less Mobile or got into the infamous Atlanta Traffic and bad parking...

Mashburn no need to get caught up with the hype... He is pulling data on a Dome that was built in 1975 vs Georgia Dome built in 1992,,,  They had a 17 year head start on events...  As far as events goes, we hold just about the same events as they do, NCAA Final Four, Super Bowls, etc... we even had the Sugar Bowl in the Dome... All of that is wonderful but they can never say that there city hosted an OLYMPIC EVENT....  Now lets wrap this conversation up....

Thank you for the factoid. I knew we did some events but did not really pay attention to the date we built the stadium nor the huge events we hailed. Thanks.

so yes this thread is wrapped up. we learned that I got a hott wife, got my seats upgraded for rising up to defend a fan/event person/worker, your good factoid. but it was funny to me how the saints fans on here stated at the begging of the thread they did not do upgrades and blah blah blah, but saintswrath let us know they do it by phone. so could we say based on this thread there is saints fans who only like to argue and drama? thats a big yes.

Thanks

this thread is done.
