There, the emperor has no clothes.

So when is 350 happening? Matt Ryan threw for 167 against the Packers so I guess you can say he's almost half way there.

I just read an article today saying in todays NFL 400 is the new 300....where the good qbs throw for over 400 every week, the average ones throw for 300 and i guess that puts matt ryan in the same convo with blaine gabbert and the receiverless Jags or colt mccoy and the receiverless browns

176 29 of them coming in garbage time with pack in prevent

this is mularkeys fault.........cant force balls to 3 guys all game...just wont work my friends...especially not when teams have to defend against 5 targets every other week..then they play us and have extra defenders to spare....

If you take away the first 2 drives i think he threw for a total of 48 yards the entire game after that against the 3rd worst secondary in the nfl.....pathetic

THanks mularkey

and is it just me or does it take ryan like 3 full seconds from decision until the balls out too......its like hes a mlb pitcher in a windup.....if its not bad enough we throw to only three guys they have a full minute in preperation of the pass

Although us Vickettes were way worse. We still are. Dude's by far the most overrated and overpaid QB in the NFL yet we still support the felon. Go figure...

You guys can post all the bad throws by Ryan, but you won't post the great throws by Matt Ryan? Sounds pretty stupid to me.

We have an agenda, and showing how good Matt Ryan really is doesn't fit our agenda.

Must be a Cam fan. Cam has hit 350 what? Two or three times already? Still a cellar dweller.

Ryan is sitting at 35-16 and would be at least 3-2 or 4-1 this year, with better execution from his team mates.

I'm still riding the Ryan wave. Even if he tanks or gets hurt this year.

I'm surprised at that stat. I was sure that Ryan has eclipsed this mark. No?

nope. if i am not mistaken his career high was against tb this year at 330.

matt ryan is who we thought he was. (the realists) overrated underpowered noodle armed mangina of a qb.

Well I must be a realist, as I have been calling Matty Lice out since day one and have been flamed every since. So what? Cause, I stood by my perception as Matty Lice as a NOODLE ARM QB.

We need a gameplan that suits Ryan's play style. . . Joe Montana never threw more than 31 td's in a season. . his highest yard total was 3900. . .he even threw 16 int's in 1990 to his 26 td's. . .

He was not the most physically gifted qb ever. . at 6'2 205 lbs. he was however cerebral.. . Walsh tailored a quick slant, wr create yac, gameplan that required intelligence and and quick decision making. .

Ryan as we all know is at or near bottom in QB atheleticism, but near the top in QB intelligence. I think we need to get back to running the ball and utilize quick patterns to create yac.

What you need to understand is Matt is more of run/dink pass QB and was drafted for that. Deep passes are not his thing and unfair to ask him to be a 350yd QB. It like looking at your girlfriend and saying "you should DD boobs cause it would make you sexier"---maybe she is already pretty but not sexy

You want better throwing QB, then we need to draft one----I would bet my next pay check that Chris Redman has a better deep arm the Matt
