Rick Karle [local sports anchor in Birmingham] said on his Twitter that the Braves held a batting practice session today and that Chipper had the longest homerun hit. Longer than Heyward.

Jayson Stark of ESPN reported that Heyward put on a show during his BP but Chipper did indeed hit one beyond the famed "Heyward tents" that protects the cars
Fredi did say Medlen will be stretched out like a starter but will shift to bullpen for the season unless theres an injury
