I found it rather corny and very strange, hope this is the first and only time I see this.

Sounds like Trent Thompson does indeed have a road to being eligible to play in fall. Many have been pretty worried about that since he dropped all his classes due to this medical issue he's dealing with. It's a medical issue btw that apparently predates the current coaching staff, so something that was known and not any kind of addiction issue. Totally unsure exactly what the situation with Thompson is, but it seems like he had a severely adverse reaction to some medication he had been prescribed.

Hoping and praying that he gets all better, regardless of football.

Hopefully it's the first of many night games this season unlike this past year.

I think a night game is awesome for that one. Sure it benefits the home team, but it's going to be a hyped up game, big time national attention, and I really want no part of Kirby's Dawgs playing a big national matchup early in the day after the trend we witnessed last year. Hopefully we do the same when they visit Athens.

I believe Georgia, at 1-0, is the only SEC team to possess a winning record against Notre Dame. Hopefully we can stretch that out to 2-0 and then 3-0 in a couple years.

For those of you who maybe didn't like the shooting star video but wanted your UGA fix...

Yes that would be me.  I like to see the blood, sweat and tears that go into building the team we see in the Fall.  Great stuff, thanks for posting.

I wouldn't mind seeing them giving even more to Schumann.

Schumann will get his big payday in a few years when he has a coaching track record. Some school will try to poach him and then Kirby will put some cheese on the table.

Let's not forget that Schumann has all of one year as an on-field position coach. He is under 30... straight out of a GA position and two years as "Director of Player Development" (whatever that means) at Alabama. I think he has a lot of value and adds a lot to this staff though.

I understand, but in his limited time here he has proven to be a fantastic recruiter.  I'm not suggesting they bump it up to 500k, but a little more than what he is getting now would be nice. I certainly don't want to lose him and yes, I think before long another school will come after him.

He got a 10% raise after what was ultimately a somewhat lackluster first year from an on field results perspective (not specifically his group but just across the board). I think he'll get taken care of, but escalating pay too quickly leaves you in a rough spot for the future. This seems appropriate.

iMac ran a 4.42 and 4.47 I believe today

Hoping he gets drafted and lands in a good spot. His value as a receiver isn't too high, but he might earn a roster spot as a return specialist. He'd have to be in the right system to fit as a receiver imo.

Former Dawg, Brendan Langley, made himself some money with a 4.44 time on the 40 and the top output for DBs with 22 bench reps.

Seems like he finally got his attitude fixed.

Would love to see Jared Goff get benched and Aaron Murray finally get a chance to play. I hate that he hasn't had a chance to play.

Unlikely. Goff would really have to suck it up to find the bench for any extended period as the #1 pick overall. They're going to give him every opportunity to prove them wrong before Murray would get a shot. Injury is probably the only way he gets a real shot...
